Acting National commissioner visits troubled Kutama Sinthumule prison

Acting National Commissioner of the Department of Correctional Services, James Smallberger will today visit the Kutama Sinthumule Correctional Centre in Makhado following a work stoppage and the escape of inmates.
This is as police continue to follow leads to track down six of the inmates who escaped the prison.
The six are part of at least seven inmates who managed to escape on Thursday night when prison warders went on strike over long standing disputes with management on pension payouts.
