Audi Polokwane has partnered with the South African Football Association (SAFA). The partnership this will see Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter driving a brand new Audi A8 executive worth R 1, 4 Million.
The deal was announced on Tuesday, by Dealer Principal at Audi Polokwane, Thembinkosi Pantsi in Polokwane.
Pantsi says, “The motor industry has always neglected sports, and in particular soccer, as a dealership, we want to reach out to people through the partnership with SAFA for development in soccer.”
He adds that their development efforts go beyond car sponsorships, but also participating in other areas of football development. “We also sponsor the SAFA Limpopo challenge which is a development soccer programme which also helps keep the kids from drugs and alcohol abuse.”
Following the announcement, Stuart Baxter expressed excitement to be driving off with a flashy A8.
